Every millennial and Gen Z follows their horoscope and can probably talk your ear off about the zodiac signs. Whether it’s your compatibility with your significant other, how you might express emotion, or even how much you care for others, human beings love to attribute everything to their astrological sign.
We created Behavioral Elements because we found nothing like it in existence; it’s a standout program because it focuses on the science behind behavior. Our purpose is to allow you to better understand behavior in order to predict and change how human beings might behave in both their professional and personal lives.
While BE and astrology are very different, we thought it might be fun to play around with the concepts of both. We’ve regrouped them according to how we think the zodiac signs might fit within our program. Keep reading to find out where your sign falls within the Behavioral Elements.
Fire
Fire is defined by the drive to acquire and is well known for its highly competitive nature. Due to their desire to win, the Fire Element thrives in the spotlight.
Those associated with the Fire element focus on exceeding goals and expectations; dominating the competition; performing at peak levels; emphasizing speed of delivery; making tough decisions; and leading the team. They are best described as competitive, direct, driven, passionate, quick, motivated, and determined, making Aries, Leo, and Capricorn fit right in with this Element.
Aries: Aries are strong, and often driven by a desire to prove themselves. They are incredibly similar to the Fire Element with their high energy and competitive nature.
Leo: It’s no secret that Leos are the cool and confident sign within the zodiac, which is why they align so well with our Fire Element. Just like the Fire, Leos are comfortable being the center of attention, have big ambitions, and are highly confident in themselves.
Capricorn: Capricorns are often seen as the hardest workers of the zodiac. Their drive for success, ambitious nature, and determination allows them to fit right in with the Fire Element.
Earth
Earth is defined by the drive to defend and focus on creating stability and certainty. People associated with the Earth element tend to focus on developing processes and procedures; promoting efficiencies; instituting organizational structure; following policies; analyzing data; and reducing risk exposure.
They are best described as process-focused, systems-thinking, stable, analytical, structural, logical, and reliable, making Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio the Earth Elements.
Taurus: The reliable, hard-headed, and down-to-earth Taurus aligns best with our rigid, analytical, process-focused Earth Element. Taurus’ stubbornness can make them set in their ways just like Earths, who love structure and process.
Virgo: Virgos and the Earth Element are one and the same, loving attention to detail and organization. Just like Earths, Virgos can be relied on to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Scorpio: In the traditional zodiac signs Scorpio falls under Water, but they’re often mistaken for other elements, as they’re hard to fit into a box. They are ambitious like the Fire Element, can create deep connections like Water, and are deeply curious like Air, but there is one thing that makes them align most with Earth: their desire for control.
Air
The Air Element is defined by the drive to learn. Airs are very future-focused and always looking to the next experience or the next opportunity.
Oftentimes people associated with the Air Element focus on envisioning the future; adapting to new challenges; developing innovative products and services; sharing ideas; and encouraging flexibility. Airs are best described as creative, abstract, visionary, adaptive, dynamic, and innovative.
Based on the Air’s creative and innovative nature, adaptability, and flexibility, Aquarius, Gemini, and Sagittarius align best with this Element.
Aquarius: Progressive, independent, and unique, it’s hard to put a label on an Aquarius. Just like the Air Element, Aquarians are highly intellectual and champion innovation.
Gemini: Geminis, otherwise known as the twins, are fearless thinkers, always down to try something new. This sign is hyperactive, with a short attention span, and are most satisfied moving from one idea to the next, allowing them to fit right in with the Air Element.
Sagittarius: Sagittarians have a brazen spirit and were born to explore. Like the Air Element, they are highly adaptable and flexible in every situation.
Water
Water is defined by the drive to bond, making them all about their people. Those associated with the Water Element focus on being empathetic to people’s concerns; promoting teamwork and collaboration; counseling teammates and coworkers; seeing the value of teamwork; creating a comfortable environment; and coaching people.
They are best described as cooperative, collaborative, people-oriented, friendly, warm, empathetic, and compassionate. These qualities make align best with Pisces, Cancer, and Libra.
Pisces: Pisces are often inclined to throw themselves into caring for others. Just like the Water Element, Pisces have an enormous depth of compassion and empathy for others.
Cancer: Caring and loyal, Cancers are deeply emotional. Similar to the Water Element, Cancers are nurturing, and go out of their way to support their people.
Libra: Libras are the charmers of the zodiac. They’re pleasing and diplomatic, which allows them to create harmony amongst people, much like the Water Element.
